About Me

Dr. Maggie Wilhelm-Lee PT, DPT

I’m Dr. Maggie and I am so excited to meet you! I have my Doctorate in Physical Therapy and my Bachelors degree in Kinesiology. I earned my Doctorate from the University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences in Austin, Tx in April 2020 and my Bachelors degree from Humboldt State University in Arcata, Ca in May of 2015. I decided to specialize in pelvic floor physical therapy after practicing in outpatient orthopedics and noticed a lack of pelvic floor physical therapists in my area and a great need for pelvic services. Another physical therapist I was working with at the time was also starting her journey treating patients with pelvic floor dysfunction so we each began a program in the area. I always knew I was passionate about Women’s health and wanted to be able to help patients in this setting as these dysfunctions are challenging and impactful to our daily lives and they don’t have to be. I also want everyone to know that pelvic floor dysfunction is very common, BUT not normal and pelvic physical therapy can help.

My Husband and I moved to Okinawa in the summer of 2023 and my goal is to be able to use my skills as a pelvic floor PT to help women (SOFA members) on the island while we are residing here thus the genesis of Be.Lee.ve Pelvic PT.

My husband and I got married in February of 2023 and we are currently enjoying our newlywed era here in Okinawa, Japan. We enjoy traveling, exploring, trying all the amazing cuisine, and spending time with our newly adopted pup, Eevee. I was a competitive rower in college and have been enjoying Dragon Boat here on island. My hobbies also include attending Crossfit classes, listening to podcasts, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

I would love to help you reach your goals and ditch pelvic floor dysfunction symptoms at Be.Lee.ve Pelvic PT
